Funeral Held May 16th for Alfred Bunting
Alfred Bunting, of Abilene, formerly of Caradan, passed away Monday, May 14, 1984, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
Funeral services, under direction of Wilkins Funeral Home, were held Wednesday, May 16, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the funeral home. Officiating at the services were Rev. Jack Vaughn and Roland Fry. Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Bunting was born on May 18, 1955, in Goldthwaite. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Clifton Bunting, on May 8, 1984.
Alfred Bunting was the Taylor County Extension Agent.
Survivors are his mother Vera Lucille Poer Bunting; three brothers, Howard, of Lubbock; Gene of Houston; and Carroll of Caradan; two sisters, Iva Grell, of Llano and Martha Teague of Austin; a number of nieces and nephews, and a number of aunts and uncles.
