By the time of the 1900 census, Mollie had borne 5 children, all still living. Her father, George Washington Miller, was born in Arkansas, her mother, Mellissa (or Malisa) Taylor, in Louisiana. The informant on her death certificate was son, E. D. Fowler.

Mollie married Bob B. Fowler, son of Wiley Young Fowler and Mary Jane Yett, about 1883. (Bob B. Fowler was born on 10 Oct 1855 in Spicewood, Burnet County, Texas,^{2 5} died on 6 Dec 1932 in Austin, Travis County, Texas ⁵ and was buried in Marble Falls, Burnet County, Texas ⁵.). The cause of his death was senile dementia, exhaustion from psychosis. He was a patient at Austin State Hospital for 11 months prior to his death..⁴
