Harry Soules
Harry B. Soules, 39, Odessa building contractor passed to his reward in an Odessa Hospital after five days of illness Friday March 7 at 7:20 p.m.

Mr. Soules went to Odessa from McGregor, Texas in 1945, and has been in the contracting business there since that time.

He was borned in Lampasas County, Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Soules. He was married to the former Pearl Blackwell in 1928 and was a member of the Baptist Church and the I.O.O.F. Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Francis Ann, 4; his mother, Mrs. F. M. Soules of Star, Tex; three brothers, Francis of Spur, Johnie of Big Springs, and Alvamerl of Lampasas, Tex, six sisters, Mrs. A. L.Simmons of Bertram, Mrs. Frank Smith and Mrs. Hoover Hodges of Lampasas, Mrs. Clyde Boyken of Evant, Mrs. Roland Kinchelo of Star, and Mrs. Eugene Adams of Killeen, Tex. and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services were held at Hurst Ranch Cemetery near Star at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, with Charles Hubbard, undertaker, directing the funeral services. Rev. Raymon Sims of Gatesville, Tex, spoke the word of comfort to the grieved ones left behind.

His father preceded him in death by three and a half years.

Active pall bearers were: T. L. Adams, Randolph Garrett, H. G. Lee, Slim Hurst, D. A. Jeske, Luther Teague and Nathan Gent. 3
