Francis died Friday, April 16, 1999 at his home. He was born October 10, 1914 in Mills County Texas. He married Ruby Howell on August 5, 1933 in Lometa, Texas. He had worked for Postex Cotton Mills. He was also a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by a young son, Wayne, in 1943. Survivors include his wife , Ruby of the home; son Glen Soules of Montgomery, Alabama; three sisters, Viola Hodges of Odessa, Evelyn Kincheloe of Benbrook, and Christine Boykin of Midlothian; a brother, Johnny Soules of San Angelo; and five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
