GLENDA MARLENE STAPLETON SURBER
Funeral services for Glenda Marlene Surber of Leakey will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Leakey with Bobby Burris, pastor of Leakey Church of Christ, officiating.
Interment will follow in Leakey Floral Cemetery.
Visitation will be held today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitation with the family will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today.
Glenda Surber died April 29, 2003, at her residence at Blanco County, at the age of 62. She was born Jan. 27, 1941, in Leakey, Real Co. Texas to Prentiss and Pearl Stapelton.
She married William G. "Bill" Surber 16 August 1969.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Glenda Surber is survived by her husband; two daughters, Dodie Lynn Pressler of Kerrville and Dana Jo Brannie and husband, Ken, of New Braunfels; one sister, Joyce Springer and husband, Bill, of San Antonio; one brother, Jerry Stapelton and wife, Arlene, of Blanco; her mother-in-law; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; four grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Glenda married William Gammon Suber.
Glenda next married Gary Grant Bacon, son of Jerry Bacon and Margaret Valentine.
