  General Notes:

Christopher's WWI draft registration and death certificate only show his birth location as Texas. It is not certain whether he was born in Hamilton County or Johnson County before the family moved. His younger sister Bertha's death certificate recorded her birth as Johnson County. Her youngest daughter was the informant.

At the time of the 1900 census, he was paying a mortgage to own his farm in Scurry County, Texas. By the time of the 1910 census, he owned his farm free of any mortgage. It was shown as a general farm. When Christopher registered for the WWI draft on 12 Sep 1918, he was a self-employed stock farmer. His mailing address was Snyder, Scurry County, Texas. His farm was listed as a stock farm in the 1920 census. At the time of the 1930 census, he was operating a dairy farm in Snyder, Scurry County, Texas.

Social Security shows last residence was Fort Meade, Polk County, Florida

Christopher married Pearl Dewdrop Richardson, daughter of W. H. Richardson and Mary Holder, on 22 Aug 1899 in , Scurry County, Texas.1 2 (Pearl Dewdrop Richardson was born on 6 Jul 1883 in Paluxy, Hood County, Texas,13 died on 5 Dec 1964 in Snyder, Scurry County, Texas 9 13 and was buried on 7 Dec 1964 in Dunn Cemetery, Dunn, Scurry County, Texas 13 14.). The cause of her death was cerebrovascular hemorrhage due to fractured pelvis from fall at home.11
