Birtie Mae Williams of Goldthwaite, Texas passed away on December 1, 2009 at Hillview Manor Nursing Home. She was 87 years of age.
Birtie was born August 8, 1922 at Winters, Texas to Roy Stanley and Winnie Mae Mason Stanley. She married Victor Williams on November 2, 1939 in Trigger Mountain, Mills County, Texas. Birtie was a homemaker and was associated with the Church of Christ.
Services were held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel, Goldthwaite, Texas. Dayton House officiated. Interment was at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldthwaite, Texas.
Survivors include two daughters and spouses: Carolyn and James Knight of Goldthwaite, Texas and Wanda and Dale Allen of Goldthwaite, Texas; one son and spouse Gene and June Williams of Killeen, Texas; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Winnie Mae Stanley and her husband Victor Williams and a brother, Bill Stanley.
