Maydell Griffin Hall, 84, of Goldthwaite, passed away Dec. 22, 2007, at Hillview Manor Nursing Home in Goldthwaite. Services will be at Stacy-Wilkins Chapel on Monday, Dec. 24, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dan Connally officiating. Interment will be at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be come and go.
Maydell was born in Mills County, Texas, to Travis Ira Griffin and Ethel (Covington) Griffin. On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Arthur Dale "Buster" Hall in Goldthwaite. She lived in Mills County most of her life and was a homemaker and Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and three brothers.
Survivors include daughters, Carol Hudspeth and Gayle Smith, both of Goldthwaite; sons, William, Robert, Ray and Owen Hall, all of Goldthwaite, and Thomas Hall, of Evant; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Faye Hall, of Comanche, Texas.
