Services for Mrs. James M. (Dorothy Nell) Carter, 44 of Goldthwaite, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church with burial in the Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. Wilkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She died at 2:55 a.m. Friday in the Childress Hospital after an illness.
Mrs. Carter was born Jan. 12, 1928, in Goldthwaite and was married to James M. Carter on June 1, 1946, in Goldthwaite. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Jimmy Carter of San Antonio; four sisters, Mrs. Juanita Finley of Houston, Mrs. Ethel Nockols of Graham, Mrs. Mildred Lewis of San Antonio, and Mrs. June've Sanders of Odessa.
