C. P. Jones' little son Rodney died last night after a long illness. His remains will be interred in the Center City cemetery this afternoon. A more extended notice will be made next week.
Death's Visit
Rodney, the 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Jones, died at the family home in this city last Friday night at 7:30 o'clock after a long illness with typhoid fever. He was confined to his bed 41 days before his death and for several days before he died it was known by the family and watchers at the bedside that the end was near. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at Center City cemetery and was attended by a large number of sympathizing friends of the family of that community and this city.
The bereaved family have the sympathy of all who know of their sorrow. 1
