Lee Adams was born March 28, 1916 in Snyder, Texas to James and Ellie Huey and passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband E. C. Adams; her sisters, Eunice Keller, Faye Huey, Jessie Woody and Reba Breneman.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her son, Kim Adams; daughter Gwanda Giezentanner and husband Byron; grandchildren, Wendi Giezentanner, Mandi Giezentanner, Clint Giezentanner, John Giezentanner; great-grandchildren, Kiah Giezentanner; brother-in-law, Tallmadge James Adams and his wife Susiebelle. During her early years in Houston, Mrs. Adams worked for Shell Pipeline as head of the payroll department. Leaving that position to devote more time to her family, she later became the secretary to the principal at Burbank Jr. High. She was the best mama in the whole world. We love you a whole bunch. A visitation was held Thursday, November 10, 2011.
The Funeral service of Mrs. Adams will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 11th at Bethel Baptist Church, 25 Tidwell, Houston, TX 77022 with interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
