E.C. ADAMS was born October 7, 1920 in Clayton, Alabama to Elah J. and Martha Adams and passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his wife Lee Huey Adams; son Kim Adams; daughter Gwanda Giezentanner and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Wendi Giezentanner, Mandi Giezentanner, Clint Giezentanner, John Giezentanner; great-grandchildren, Kiah Giezentanner; brother, Tallmadge James Adams and his wife Susiebelle. Mr. Adams served in the United States Army. He retired after 35 years with the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 23, 2010 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church where funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery. He was the best Papa in the whole world. We loved you a whole bunch.
