Scheller, Vera (Obenhaus)
Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Scheller were held at Columbus Funeral Home Friday, April 2, at 3 p.m. Burial was in Live Oak Cemetery. Rev. George F. Snow, pastor of Glidden Baptist Church officiated. Mrs. Scheller passed away in the Weimar Hospital March 31.
Mrs. Scheller was the daughter of Julius and Emma Foltz Obenhaus, born January 21, 1886 in the Live Oak community. She lived in this area all her life. In October, 1910 she was united in matrimony with Mr. Henry Scheller. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. Scheller died in 1969.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Garland Bernhard of Columbus, a sister Mrs. Julius Miles of Houston, one granddaughter, Mrs. Roy Cloat of Columbus, one grandson, Marty Bankston of Sweden and 2 great-grandchildren Jackie and Lori Cloat.
Pallbearers were Jake Obenhaus, Oliver Wegenhoft, Owen Miller, Jimmy Wallace, Durwood Miles and Roy Cloat.
