At the time of the 1900 census, Alfred was a lawyer. He lived with his parents in Paris, Lamar County, Texas. At the time of the 1910 census, he was a lawyer in general practice in Paris. He lived with his father. In 1920 he was a county judge in Paris. He owned his home free of mortgage. At the time of the 1930 census, Alfred was a lawyer in general practice in Paris. He rented his home for $35 a month. His wife Irene was the informant on his death certificate.

FUNERAL OF JUDGE DOHONEY ON MONDAY
Service Set for 3 o'Clock At Central Presbyterian Church

The funeral of Judge A. P. Dohoney who died Saturday night was set for 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at Central Presbyterian church, conducted by Dr. F. L. Wear, the pastor, with burial at Evergreen cemetery, pallbearers being S. B. M. Long, W. F. Moore, H. H. McClanahan, S. W. Wilbor, J. P. Fenet and Richard Blyth. Members of the Paris Bat association were named as honorary pallbearers.

Judge Dohoney, former judge of the 62nd Judicial district of Texas, a native of Paris, is survived by his widow, the former Miss Irene Hardin of Greenville and one son, Alfred P. Dohoney, Jr., two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. C. I. Bread, Mrs. W. P. Wood and F. J. Dohoney of Paris and W. B. Dohoney of Amarillo. His father was Captain E. L. Dohoney, former state senator and member of the Texas constitutional convention.
