Services were held Monday, February 28, for Mrs. Eula Mae Wagner, 65, with Ron Horton and Richard Penna officiating in Riley Funeral Chapel, Burial followed in Cottage Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Wagner, Mark Wagner, Paul Kelly, Danny Kelly, Scott Wagner, Brett Wagner, and Tommy Martin.

Mrs. Wagner died Saturday, February 26, in St. Paul Hospital in Dallas after an illness of about two weeks.

Mrs. Wagner was a longtime resident of Hamilton where she has been a nurse for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton.

She was born on September 24, 1911, in Mills County to the late Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Ellis. In 1929 she married James Embrey Wagner who preceded her in death.

She is survived by four children, James D. Wagner of St. Jo, Texas, Bill Wagner of Euless, Ruth Kelly of Gunnison, Colorado, and Judy Morris of Denton. She is also survived by a sister, Jesse Ruth Garner of Stephenville, five brothers, Jonnie Ellis of O'Donnell, Texas, Dick Ellis of Hereford, Bill Ellis of Hereford, Ardell Ellis of O'Donnell, and Buck Ellis of Lamesa, 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Eula married James Embrey Wagner, son of Soloman Embrey Wagner and Nancy Elizabeth Wright, on 12 Oct 1929 in , Hamilton County, Texas. (James Embrey Wagner was born on 6 Nov 1906 in Pottsville, Hamilton County, Texas, died on 15 Oct 1955 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas and was buried in Cottage Hill Cemetery, Hamilton County, Texas ².). The cause of his death was bone caner, multiple myoloma.
