Used the name Alison A. Head on daughter Nelda's and son Johnnie's birth record. At the time of the 1930 census, he rented his home. His occupation was public shearer. The Texas Death Index had the date as 29 Dec 1931. His tombstone has 28 Dec 1931.

• Alt. Death, 28 Dec 1931. ⁷ His death was recorded as 12:20 am on the morning of 29 Dec 1931 on the death certificate. That may be why the family chose to use the preceeding date as the date of his death on the tombstone.
