Jerry's parents were Grady Dawson Lewis and Dorothy Lenore Crawford. He worked as an electrician.

Jerry Lewis born September 20, 1944 in Burnet, Texas, passed from this life February 23, 2012 after a valient fight with numerous illness and disabilities. Jerry lived in Spicewood most of his life. Jerry is survived by the love of his life and wife of 46 years, Laurie Lewis, the pride and joy of his life, his son Jerry Lee Lewis and his loving and faithful daughter- in-law, Carlette Lewis, his grandaughters, Forenn Carr and Alex Crowder and greatgrandchildren Skylar, Shiloh and Santana, his sister-in-law and her husband, Charlotte and Bubba Alexander and his brother Elmo Lewis and wife Angie and nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Jerry attended the church of Christ all of his life. He had a kind heart and helped many people throughout his life. The family wishes to thank all the people who have helped Jerry, especially the last year or so of his life. A private family service is pending.
