Frank's parents were born in Illinois. At the time of the 1930 census, Frank was a precipitating boss for the vanadium mill in Rifle, Garfield County, Colorado. He and Anna were boarding with Daniel and Lily Parker. He married for the first time at age 24, so this was not his first marriage. He was not a veteran.
