HISTORY: Tom was a lifelong tennis player, winning many singles and doubles championships and getting a tennis scholarship to U.C. Berkeley. He played tennis daily until the 1980's.
He had lifelong friendships with the Kodiaks, originally Troop 1 of the Boy Scouts in Stockton, California. They met yearly for the rest of their lives. There are scrapbooks of their yearly meetings that lasted over 60 years. As of this date [2004], only 1 Kodiak remains, Bill Dozier of Stockton.
