![]() General Notes: BROSIUS, RAYMOND S., 86, a resident of Prospect St., Brownsville for more than half a century, died April 7, 1966 in McMurray Manor, McMurray. He was born in Hancock, MD, the son of CLARENCE and ANNA CREAGER BROSIUS. He attended school in Johnstown and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, with a pharmacy degree in 1901. He managed the old J.D. Armstrong Drug Store here for 3 years starting in 1902, returned to Johnstown to operate a drug store there. He returned to Brownsville 5 years later and acquired a drug store which he operated as the Central Pharmacy for 36 years. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. He had been a member of the Rotary Club for 42 years, serving as the Brownsville Rotary Club's fourteenth president in 1934-1935. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and served as Sunday School Superintendent and was one of the founders of the Boy Scout Troop 643,sponsored by the E.M. Bowman Bible Class of the Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, RUTH ANN SWAN BROSIUS. Surviving are his second wife, SUSAN SWAN BROSIUS, two daughters, MRS. MARION BERREHSEM and MRS. MARGARET WYLIE, a granddaughter, SUZANNE WYLIE and a sister, MRS. LULU DILLINGER. Burial in Redstone Cemetery under the direction of the J.W.
