General Notes:
The first two sons died and were buried at Ringgold, Pennsylvania, near to where they had moved. Later the family moved back to near Snyderville, Armstrong County, and a few years later to the Dormier Farm near Goheenville, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
He grew up amid pioneer surroundings. Was a farmer, carpenter, stonecutter. A man of powerful physique. Member Lutheran Church.
