Myrl Gibson Heine, age 94 of Bertram passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23.

She was born on Feb. 15, 1915, to George B. Gibson and Maud (Hall) Gibson in Smithwick. She was a lifelong resident of Burnet County and had lived for many years in Burnet and for the past few years resided in the Bertram Nursing Home. Myrl was a homemaker in the truest sense of the word and could cook, garden, sew, and care for countless other chores and responsibilities of her home. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Myrl was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Heine and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and close friends who will miss her

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet with Truman Stinson officiating. Interment will follow at the Smithwick Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Myrl may be made to your favorite charity or organization.
