At the time of the 1930 census, Wesley and his family were living with his wife Ida's parents in Bastrop County, Texas. He gave his age as 34 and said he had married at 26. He said his parents were born in Texas. He was a laborer for Texas ? ? (illegible). He indicated that he was a veteran of WWI.

I couldn't find a WWI draft registration card for him to verify the birth date. His WWII draft registration showed the date of 2 Jan 1896. He and his wife, Ida, were living in Smithville, Bastrop County, Texas. His Social Security Death record also showed the birth date of 2 Jan 1896.
