GOLDTHWAITE Funeral services for Ruby D. Miles, 90, of Goldthwaite will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel, with Stewart Farrell officiating and assisted by Brother Doug Holtzclaw. Burial will follow in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the services.

She died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Goldthwaite.

She was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Pleasant Grove, Mills County, to Oz Berry and Myrtle Hardman Berry. She was married to J.C. "Jude" Miles on Aug. 15, 1940, in Goldthwaite. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist.

Survivors include her sons, Elam Miles and wife Linda of Goldthwaite, Danny Miles and wife Sharron of Glen Rose, Harold Miles and wife Vicki of Frisco, Charles Miles and wife Pam of Goldthwaite, Barry Miles of Goldthwaite, and Randal Miles and wife Renee of Goldthwaite; daughter, Joyce Wilson and fiancé Rock Shipley of Big Spring; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and sister, Verba Rae.

Ruby D Miles of Goldthwaite, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Goldthwaite, Texas. She was 90 years of age.

Ruby was born September 26, 1922 in Pleasant Grove, Mills County, Texas to O Z Berry and Myrtle Hardman Berry. She married J.C. "Jude" Miles on August 15, 1940 in Goldthwaite and lived in Mills County most of her life. She was affiliated with the Fellowship Baptist Church. Ruby was a homemaker and a quilt maker.

Services were held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel, Goldthwaite, Texas. Stewart Farrell officiated assisted by Bro. Doug Holtzclaw.

Interment was at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldth-waite, Texas.
Pallbearers included Adam Miles, Steven Miles, Russell Miles, Ricky Miles, Josh Wilson, Ryan Miles, Trey Horton and Tyler Horton.

Survivors include her sons and wives Elam Miles and Linda, Goldthwaite, Texas, Danny Miles and Sharron, Glen Rose, Texas, Harold Miles and Vicki, Frisco, Texas, Charles Miles and Pam, Goldthwaite, Texas, Barry Miles, Goldthwaite, Texas, Randal Miles and Renee, Goldthwaite, Texas; daughter Joyce Wilson and fiancé Rock Shipley, Big Spring, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents O Z and Myrtle Berry; husband J.C. "Jude" Miles; and sister Verba Rae.

Arrangements were handled by Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home, Goldthwaite, Texas. ^{3 4}

Ruby married Julius Carroll Miles, son of Harvey Carroll Miles and Beaulah May Kerby, on 15 Aug 1940 in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas.
