Rita Marie DeLoach ¹

  General Notes:

Rita Marie Bunte, 60, passed from this life to the next on October 18, 2008, in her home at Lakeway. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister. Rita was born July 21, 1948, to Rusty and Nita DeLoach of Smithville, Texas. She graduated Smithville High in 1966 and Southwest Texas State University in 1970. She then taught music in Deer Park ISD. After a long courtship to her high school sweetheart, Bill Bunte, they married in 1971. Rita is rejoicing at seeing her Lord who she loved so deeply and served so faithfully "face to face, and no longer through a glass dimly". Rita's deep dedication and caring for her family was an example for us all. She truly lived her life for others serving God wherever He led her, and our lives have been immeasurably blessed by her commitment and love for us and for Him. Rita will be missed by her husband, Bill; and son, Jarrett, of Lakeway; her daughter, Carissa, and son in law, Thomas Cassatt of Frisco; her parents Rusty and Nita DeLoach of Smithville; her sister and brother in law, Cindy and Carlos Klutts of Austin; her brother and sister in law, Rusty and Wanda DeLoach of Lubbock; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at the Austin Christian Fellowship, 6401 River Place Blvd., Austin, Texas 78730, followed by services at 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Oakhill Cemetery in Smithville, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Austin Christian Fellowship, including MOPS and Women's Ministry.
