He was married to my Great Aunt Charlotte (George), whom I knew as a little boy. I visited her in Dallas with my mother. He was a sheriff and he died young, I understand by his own hand. There were no children and Aunt Charlotte did not remarry. When the George family moved from Fulton, MO to Dallas County, TX in the first year of the Civil War, Aunt Charlotte, who was eleven years old, drove the hack. I know very little about her husband and would be very interested in hearing more about him. I understand he had a good reputation as a sheriff. John Charles Curry No. 48

Garrett married Charlotte George, daughter of William M. George and Ann Eliza Young. (Charlotte George was born in 1851 in Missouri ¹ and died in 1944 ¹.)
