He taught at an electrical training school in Marble Falls, Texas. He then went to work for the Lower Colorado River Authority, where he spent the remainder of his career, retiring as Superintendent of Buchanan Dam. He will always be remembered by those who knew him for his kind spirit, and his generosity to others.
