![]() General Notes: Jonathan was occupied with farming in Huntingdon county until 1860, when he removed to Altoona, Pennsylvania, and there lived in retirement. In political matters he was a Whig, and in religious, a Catholic. At one time he held the rank of captain of the militia. ![]() Additional Information: • Military Service: Capt, Militia. ![]() Jonathan married Mary Noble, daughter of Samuel Noble and Mary Spencer. (Mary Noble was born on 29 Sep 1799 in Porter Township, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania 1 and died in 1871 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.) |
