When he registered for the WWI draft on 5 Jun 1917, he was a miner working for Pittsburgh Radium Company in Thompsons, Salt Lake County, Utah. He had a wife and child but did not claim an exemption. Social Security had his last residence as Fallon, Churchill County, Nevada. His marriage license to Harriet showed that he was previously married and divorced.

Arthur married Harriet George, daughter of Harry Noble George and Ida Lewis Mallory, on 18 May 1934 in Glenwood Springs, Garfield County, Colorado.¹ (Harriet George was born on 24 Dec 1918 in Rifle, Garfield County, Colorado ⁵ and died on 9 Jul 2009 in Carson City, Nevada ⁵.)

Marriage Notes:

The marriage was performed by Carl W. Fulghum, Garfield County judge. The witnesses were Harriet's parents, Mr. & Mrs. H. N. George. Because she was only 15, her parents signed a consent for the marriage.
