  General Notes:

Einar immigrated to America in 1916. His place of origin was Forserum Jönköping Län, Sverige (Sweden). At the time of the 1920 census, he was a farm laborer in Bastrop County, Texas. He was living with the August and Ida Carlson family. They had immigrated from Sweden also in 1890 and 1904 respectively. All their children were born in Texas. At the time of the 1930 census, he was a laborer in a plow factory in Moline, Rock Island, Illinois. He was single and lodging with an older Swedish born couple, Peter J. and Carrie Anderson. They had been in America since 1880 and were naturalized. Einar became a naturalized citizen on 18 Sep 1941 at age 42 in the Circuit Court at Rock Island, Illinois. His witnesses were Harry G. Grell and Arthur Tillberg of Moline, Illinois.

His WWII army enlistment record showed that he had a grammar school education. His civilian occupation was classified as semiskilled driller, extraction of minerals and construction. He was divorced, without dependents. He was living in Rock Island, Illinois.
