Aletta Geeslin, 71, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007.

Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Aletta was born July 20, 1936, in Akron, Ohio, to Laird and Vanita McMeen. Aletta was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Garland Geeslin Sr., in 2000.

Survivors: Daughter, Tanya Geeslin; son, Garland Geeslin Jr.; grandchildren, Ashley and Jon Brett; great-grandchild, Savannah; brother, David McMeen; sister, Beverly Hyde; brother, George McMeen; nieces, Sherry Couch, Joanie Hatten and Misty McMeen; and nephews, Joe Welborn, Cole McMeen and Kenny McMeen.

Social Security had her last residence as Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.
