General Notes:
He grew up as an only child in Denham Springs, Louisiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He worked for Magnolia Petroleum in Dallas, Texas, until called for military service during WWII.
He was a Texas resident since 1947 when he was transferred to Texaco's Houston office from the company's Erath Cycling Plant in Louisiana. Bob retired in 1986 after 39 years in the Natural Gas Division of Texaco, having officed in Fort Worth, Midland, and a second time in Houston, often traveling to Washington, DC, to testify before the Federal Power Commission. After his retirement from Texaco, Bob served for more than a decade on the board of NAMI Houston and on committees regarding mental health issues.
Social Security had his last residence as Houston, Harris County, Texas.
