Mr. W.B. Armstrong, an old Confederate soldier died at Chepultepec Aug. 30th. He was about seventy-five years old and was widely known and greatly beloved. The remains were laid to rest at Chepultepec cemetery, a large concourse of people attended the obsequies. Rev. S.C. Allgood officiated. While it is according to nature for the aged to die yet it is with profound regret we chronicle the death of this venerable man. To the grief stricken we extend our heart felt sympathy.
