GOLDTHWAITE -- Funeral services for Luke Sutherland Hamilton, 7, of Goldthwaite, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at First Baptist Church in Goldthwaite. Burial will follow at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.

He passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 in Fort Worth.

He was born Oct. 20, 2011 in Brownwood to Nick Hamilton and Melissa Gumpert Hamilton.

Survivors include his parents, Nick and Melissa Hamilon of Goldthwaite; siblings, Halee Head, Kylee Jo Sutherland, Savannah Head, Slade Sutherland, Emma Head and Sydney Hamilton; and grandparents, Brenda Eakin, Kenneth and Judy Gumpert, and Steve and Geri Hamilton.

Luke Sutherland Hamilton, 7, of Goldthwaite, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, in Fort Worth.

Luke was born Oct. 20, 2011, in Brownwood. He was the son of Nick and Melissa (Gumpert) Hamilton. He was a student at Goldthwaite Elementary School.

Surviving are his parents, Nick and Melissa Hamilton of Goldthwaite; his siblings, Halee Head, Kylee Jo Sutherland, Savannah Head, Slade Sutherland, Emma Head, and Sydney Hamilton; and his grandparents, Brenda Eakin, Kenneth & Judy Gumpert, and Steve & Geri Hamilton.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home in Goldthwaite. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at First Baptist Church in Goldthwaite, with David Crosby and Stewart Farrell officiating. Interment will be in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite.

Pallbearers are Kenneth Gumpert, Mark Gumpert, Casey Hamilton, Scotty Jones, Steve Hamilton, and Slade Sutherland. Honorary pallbearers are Shane Carr, Astin Carr, Beau Arnold, Taylor Underwood, Pablo Ramos, and Christopher Mendiola.

Luke's favorite color was BLUE and the family requested that everyone wear BLUE for the services.
