Wilbur J. Geeslin age 77 passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 at his residence in Odessa. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday in Pampa, Texas at Fairview Cemetery.

He was born in Mills County, Texas on August 25, 1928 to Jesse and Euphie (Wilson) Geeslin. He married Joann Davis October 10, 1948 in Odessa. He was a vice president for Eddins Walcher. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. His greatest joy was serving the Lord. He was part of the bus ministry at Temple Baptist Church and loved working with the children there.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother Elmer Geeslin.

He is survived by his wife Joann Geeslin of Odessa; son James Geeslin and wife Connie of Lorena, TX; daughters Elizabeth Geeslin of San Angelo, Katherine Bowles and husband Jim of Anchorage, Alaska, ; grandchildren Jennifer Heininger, Rebecca Gips, Lindsey Geeslin, Benjamin Geeslin; and great grandchild Henry Heininger.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund or Home Hospice. Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Wilbur married Joan Davis.
