  General Notes:

They came to America in 1854 and naturalized as citizens in 1860. According to their answers on the census, they never learned English. In 1910 they both listed Bohemian as their language. In 1920, Vincenz listed Czech and Josephine listed German as the language spoken. They were born in Austria according to the tombstones but they responded with Bohemia several years on the census.

I believe her stone is cut with the wrong date because she is listed on the 1920 census with him, which was taken 5 Feb 1920. They were born in Austria according to the tombstones but they responded with Bohemia several years on the census.

Josephine married Vincenz Schiller. (Vincenz Schiller was born on 15 Aug 1831,¹ died on 30 Mar 1928 ¹ and was buried in Shelby Cemetery, Shelby, Austin County, Texas.)
