On Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, Donald H McCarn, Jr., loving husband, father of three children and Papa to five grandchildren, passed away at the age of 65.
Don was born on Sept. 5, 1953 in Middlesex, England to Don and Betty (Patrick) McCarn.
On June 22, 1974, he married Lilla Beth (Breeding) McCarn. He received a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Texas A&M University in 1976. He and Beth raised two daughters, Brandi and Codi, and one son, Andy.
Don was employed with the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services for over 30 years before retiring in 2018.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Don & Betty McCarn.
He is survived by his wife Beth, his three children, Brandi Rountree and husband Brady of Goldthwaite, Codi McCarn of Goldthwaite, and Andy McCarn and wife Timany of Murrieta, California; his grandchildren, Taylor & Logyn Rountree, Ayden & Ally McCarn, and Owen McCarn; his brother, Dennis McCarn and wife Kim of Anacortes, Washington; and his sister, Kerisa McCarn; three nieces; a nephew; and a long line of extended family. 1
