Ruby Rose Mae Miles, 94 of Pearland passed away July 5, 2008, at the Windsong Nursing Home in Pearland, Texas.
Ruby was born May 5, 1914, to Margaret and John Merrill.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Doc Miles and her daughter, Glenda Dawson.
She is survived by sister, Loris Norris; sister-in-law, Ela Faye Merrill; children, Jesse Miles and Pat O?Neal of Fort Worth and Darrell and Diane Taylor of Angleton; grandchildren, Mike and Cathy Miles, Melinda Myles, Dee and Carlos Saenz, Chad and Jennifer Taylor and Clay and Stephanie Taylor. She left seven great-grandchildren ranging in age from 1 to 23.
Ruby was a member of the Shadycrest Baptist Church of Pearland and a charter member of the Second Baptist Church of Angleton.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 7, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home with interment following at Angleton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shadycrest Baptist Church, 3214 Hamm Road, Pearland, Texas 77581.

Ruby married James Townsen Miles, son of James Steen Miles and Lillie Catherine Nichols.
