She had borne 10 children with 7 still living. At the time of the 1910 census, Edgar was a bookkeeper for a dry goods store in Star, Texas. In 1920 he was listed as a cotton ginner on the census in Star, Mills County, Texas. He has a Woodman of the World memorial tombstone. ![]() Thomas married Nettie Ethelyn Sargent, daughter of James Sargent and Hannah Stickney, about 1899. (Nettie Ethelyn Sargent was born on 23 Oct 1879 in Mound, Coryell County, Texas,6 died on 25 May 1950 in Gatesville, Coryell County, Texas 7 8 and was buried on 27 May 1950 in Hurst Ranch Cemetery, Hamilton County, Texas 6 9.). The cause of her death was cerebral hemorrhage. |
