R.W. Cagle

Big Spring - R.W. Cagle, 84, died Thursday at his residence.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Paul B. Keele, pastor of West Angelo Church of Christ, San Angelo, and Robert Turner, pastor of Oasis Church of Christ, officiating.

Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Stag Creek Cemetery between Rising Star and Comanche.

Mr. Cagle was born in Eastland County. He worked as a conductor for T&P Railroad for 36 years, retiring in 1978. He was active with the Senior Citizen Center. He was a member of Oasis Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Cagle of Big Spring, Joe Cagle of Carbon and Bud Cagle of Odessa; a daughter, Agatha Thomasson of Clyde; a sister, Conova Weaver of Comanche; a brother, Lohman Cagle of Comanche; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
