Death of Mrs. McLean Brosius
Mrs. Loula Mae Ketcham McLean Brosius died last Saturday at her estate in Mount Kisco. Her first husband was Stephen Ashton McLeon. Following the death of her first husband, who was former president of the Greenwich Bank in New York in 1920, the widow announced that the income from $200,000 which she inherited ...that she ordered beautiful trees on her property cut down and used as fuel to warm the residence. It is said that other steps were taken by her to maintaine (sic) the large estate with a vertige of elegance.
Later she married Carlton Brosius who survives her, also two sisters. Her funeral was held on Monday at Mountainville, N. Y. the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ketcham.
