Billie Joyce Buerger Wilkinson passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the age of 90, in the home of her daughter, Linda Head, where she had been living and being cared for the past 9 months.
Graveside services will be held at Waco Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
Joyce was a mother, homemaker, excellent seamstress, and retiree from Baylor University in Waco, TX. She had most recently moved to Goldthwaite, TX. She loved being around family including her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wilkinson; son, David Wells; grandchildren, Shannon Denise Loggins and Amber Lynn Head; great-grandson, Luke Sutherland Hamilton; two brothers and one sister.
Joyce is survived by three daughters; Linda and husband, Darrell Wayne Head, Brenda Boatright Eakin, Joyce Ann and husband, Buddy Loggins; grandchildren, Derrick Head and wife, Jessica, Lindsey Head, Melissa Hamilton and husband, Nick, Christie Gumpert and husband, Jack, Jason Loggins, Ashley Loggins, Chris Evers and Sundee Millman; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Allie, Peyton, Rhyder, Halee, Savannah, Emma, Jackson, Gavin, Levi; and niece, Frances Cox.
Billie married Jack Coleman Wilkinson Sr on 20 Jan 1968 in , McLennan County, Texas. (Jack Coleman Wilkinson Sr was born on 23 Jan 1922, died on 22 Mar 2001 and was buried in Waco Memorial Park, Waco, McLennan County, Texas.)
