By the time of the 1900 census, Sarah had borne 9 children with 6 still living.

MRS. S. L. EVANS
Mrs. S. L. Evans died Friday, Nov. 27, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. A. Cook, in Mexia, Texas. Mrs. Evans was 73 years of age at the time of death.

Funeral services were conducted at Center City last Saturday by Rev. McNeal, pastor of the Baptist Church at Mullin. Burial was in the Center City cemetery.

Mrs. Evans is survived by six children: J. Everett Evans, Center City; W. B. Evans, Katy, Texas; C. H. Evans, Mexia, Texas; Mrs. A. A. Cook, Mexia; Mrs. Walter Doggett, Mexia; Mrs. F. A. McCasland, Grady, N. M. All were present at the funeral except Mrs. McCasland.

The Eagle joins the many friends of the relatives in extending sincerest sympathy.
