Listed as Bell in the 1870 Census. She was living in Hamilton, Caldwell County, Missouri. Bessie went to California in Apr 1888 from Leadville, Colorado. (A 1898 newspaper article said her father was going to Oregon to see her.) At the time of the 1900 census, she and Harley lived in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. She had not borne any children after 10 years of marriage.
