General Notes:

At one time Grady operated a granite quarry. Later, he became director of the Lower Colorado River Authority (Texas), and served for many years. After retirement he devoted much time adding to his collection of 'rock spheres' which he made from ordinary rocks into precious 'Jewels'. He was a talented craftsman and a sensitive and discerning naturalist.
