John married Agnes Maude Wilson, daughter of Dr John Frank Wilson and Agnes Priscilla Britton. (Agnes Maude Wilson was born on 14 Jul 1872 in Newark, Licking County, Ohio and died on 1 Apr 1962 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.)
