M. C. (Jack) Adams, age 84, of Waxahachie, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 2, 2009 at his home. He was born November 11, 1925 in Halls Valley, TX to Charlie and Amanda Martha Adams. Jack married Launell Ethridge on December 27, 1947 in Brownwood, TX. He was a WWII veteran having served in the U. S. Marines. He had worked in the aircraft industry for 36 years.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Launell Adams of Waxahachie; one son, Jackie Adams and his wife Loretta of Goldthwaite, TX; one daughter, Pam Kelly and her husband Mike of Midlothian; four grandchildren, one great grandchild; one sister, Charlene Teague of Burleson, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cynthia Adams and one sister, Norma Janner.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.
Graveside service and interment will be 11 AM Friday, December 4, 2009 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Brownwood.
Jack married Nettie Launell Ethridge, daughter of Orrel Burl Ethridge and Dezie Mae Carlisle.
