ELTON HUGH KRAUSE
Elton Hugh Krause, 88, of Spicewood died Nov. 15, 2011. He was born in spicewood on April 14, 1923, to Clifton and Minnie Krause.

In 1955, he and his wife Jane were able to purchase one of the most unique properties in Texas, just three miles from his childhood home. Seven years later, Krause Springs was opened to the public. Thousands of visitors arrive each year to soak in the healing spring water, rest under the ancient cypress trees, stroll through the eclectic garden and enjoy the company of loved ones.

The family would like to thank the staff at West Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare center in Austin.
