By the time of the 1910 census, Annie had borne 2 children with both still living. Her father was born in Tennessee, her mother in Arkansas. At the time of the 1920 census, her mother, Maria T. Williams, was living with the family. By the time of the 1930 census, Annie was widowed. She owned her home on a farm in Craig County, Oklahoma. The two youngest children were still at home.

Annie married James Malcolm Thompson, son of William Riley Thompson and Sophronie Caroline Calbert Taylor, in 1905.¹ (James Malcolm Thompson was born in 1865 in Texas, died in 1925 in Vinita, Craig County, Oklahoma and was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, Craig County, Oklahoma ⁵.)
