  General Notes:

When Harry registered for the WWI draft on 5 Jun 1917, he was farming his own farm in Garfield County, Colorado. (mailing address Rifle, Colorado) He had a wife and child under 12 but did not claim an exemption. At the time of the 1920 census, Harry was paying a mortgage to own his home. He was farming a general farm. The 1930 census showed that the family lived on a farm in Garfield County, Colorado. Harry rented the farm he worked. (Note: The census taker got on the wrong line when recording the parents' birthplaces. The information seems to fit the person above for several lines. Harry's parents were shown as born in Denmark when the man above him was an immigrant from there. Harry's correct information is on Ida's line, her's is on Alfred's line.)
